Terms & conditions.

The legal bits. Please read this before ordering — it covers how contracts are formed, delivery, your cancellation rights, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated: Aug 2026. These terms apply to all orders placed through digsforfigs.com.

1. Who we are

digsforfigs.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Digs for Figs, a sole trader business run by Sonia Parsons (with Martin Parsons), based in Honiton, Devon, UK.

You can contact us at minifigs@digsforfigs.com.

2. About our products

We design and sell front-opening minifigure display frames and genuine LEGO® base plates. Our frames are designed by us to display LEGO minifigures — they are not manufactured, endorsed by, or affiliated with the LEGO Group in any way. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site or our products.

We try to make sure colours, dimensions and descriptions on our site are accurate, but slight variations (screen display, batch differences, that sort of thing) may occur. Photos are of real frames wherever possible.

3. Orders and how a contract is formed

When you place an order, we’ll send you an order confirmation email — this confirms we’ve received your order, not that we’ve accepted it. A contract between us is only formed once we send you a dispatch confirmation, or once your order is dispatched, whichever happens first.

Occasionally we may be unable to fulfil an order (stock issue, pricing error, etc.). If this happens we’ll contact you and refund any payment taken in full.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout based on your delivery address.

We offer an automatic multi-frame discount: 5% off orders of 3–4 frames, and 10% off orders of 5 or more frames. This is applied automatically in your basket — no code needed.

Payment is taken in full at checkout via our payment providers (currently Stripe and/or PayPal). We don’t store your card details ourselves — payment is processed securely by our payment provider.

5. Delivery

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses. Delivery to Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, and European destinations is charged at checkout — see our shipping page for current rates by zone.

Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees — occasionally things take longer, particularly for international deliveries or during busy periods.

Risk in the goods passes to you once they’re delivered to the address given at checkout.

6. Your right to cancel

Because you’re a consumer buying online, you have a legal right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This gives you 14 days from the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods to change your mind, for any reason, without needing to give a reason.

To cancel, just email us at minifigs@digsforfigs.com with your order number. You’ll then need to return the goods to us at your own cost (unless they’re faulty or not as described), in the same condition you received them, within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you providing evidence you’ve sent them, whichever is earlier.

This is a legal minimum — our own returns policy is actually more generous (30 days), so in practice that’s the one that applies.

7. Faulty or damaged goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty, not as described, or arrives damaged, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and how long you’ve had it.

In practice: tell us within 48 hours of delivery with a couple of photos, and we’ll sort a replacement or refund straight away, at our cost, no quibbling.

In short

Order online, 14-day legal cooling-off period (30 days under our own policy), free returns if something’s wrong on our end, and we’ll never leave you chasing us for a refund.

8. Our liability

We’re responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us. We’re not liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable to both of us when the contract was formed, for business losses (this site is aimed at consumers, not trade buyers), or for losses that aren’t caused by us breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded.

9. Events outside our control

We won’t be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control — courier disruption, extreme weather, supplier issues and similar. If this happens we’ll let you know and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.

10. Intellectual property

The Digs for Figs name, logo, photography and site content are our property (or used with permission) and shouldn’t be copied or reused without asking us first. Product names of third-party franchises referenced on this site (LEGO and others) belong to their respective trademark owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example if our processes or the law changes. The version that applies to your order is the one in place at the time you order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute can’t be resolved directly with us, you can also use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform or a UK Alternative Dispute Resolution provider, though we’d always rather sort things out directly first.
